Judy views the world through a systemic lens before becoming a therapist. She worked in a non-profit organization to help serve her community, where people of color faced systemic oppression and a lack of healthy coping skills. Judy’s interest lies in working with minorities to help them build meaning and understanding around the connection between their experiences, emotions, and behavior while allowing them to develop better relationships with employers, family, and friends by exploring racial traumas, comorbid disorders, and many other intersections. Judy’s interests are expanding past Emotional Focused Therapy & Feminist Theory. Judy also enjoys working with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma using Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapy.
Judy is a people therapist who uses humor and her authentic self to build rapport and work with individuals, families, and couples.
