Jianna Iaciofano, MA 

Associate Clinician

Jianna is an Associate Clinician who sees individuals and couples in person or via telehealth. She accepts out-of-pocket pay as well as several insurances. Jianna received her master’s graduate degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Boston University and her bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Health Studies from the University of Rhode Island. Through her academic career and work in the research field, Jianna has garnered an abundance of knowledge on topics ranging from substance and alcohol use disorders, ADHD, and impulsivity, to anxiety disorders. As such, these entities are often intertwined, Jianna strives to provide comprehensive counseling that is multifaceted and aims to create nurturing and safe environments. Jianna is dedicated to creating trusting relationships that allow opportunities for self-growth and exploration. 

Jianna is a passionate Associate Clinician who aims to provide comfort care in the field of mental health. Jianna has a strong belief that persons are made up of unique characteristics, that complement each other and create an irreplicable individual. Through self-introspection and mindfulness, every individual can express themselves freely and unapologetically. 

 

Jianna enjoys working with individuals between the ages of 13-45 in individual therapy. She utilizes a variety of intervention methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), to overcome obstacles and create an individual-centered environment. Jianna’s main goal is to leave long-lasting, positive impacts on her clients’ lives and aid in the healing process and path of self-discovery. Life can be filled with highs and lows, but through candor and vulnerability, each day can be better than before.
