Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is your time to sit with an experienced mental health clinician to freely discuss your concerns in a safe, supportive, and confidential setting. The process can help people identify underlying causes of symptoms, provide strategies for addressing distressing thoughts and behaviors and guide people to make positive lifestyle changes. Individual therapy can help people with the skills to manage these symptoms, reduce stress, and improve their quality of life.

Child and Adolescent Counseling

Child and adolescent counseling is a specific type of therapy that focuses on young children, teens, and adolescents with one or more mental health challenges. It also provides support to youths who have experienced trauma, who are experiencing difficulty making or maintaining healthy friendships or who may be struggling with a stressful home life. 


Some of the issues we address in child and adolescent counseling include:

Couples Counseling

The goal is to help couples understand one another on a deeper level, build on their strengths, and identify ways to improve communication in the relationship. Some of the techniques employed in couples counseling include Gottman, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Couple Therapy (CBCT), among others.

Family Counseling

Family counseling is a comprehensive approach to understanding the challenges in a family unit.  It is an ideal counseling method for helping family members adjust to an immediate family member struggling with an addiction, medical issue or mental health diagnosis. The goal of family therapy is to help family members improve communication, address family challenges. 


Some of the issues we address in family counseling include:

Group Counseling

Group counseling is an engaging process of collaborating with others to gain the knowledge and confidence to manage difficult situations. Group sessions typically run one evening a week for one hour over a 10 week period.
