Astrid Krogstad, BA, MA Candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy
Clinical Intern
Astrid is a second-year student in Antioch New England’s Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program. She brings a compassionate, collaborative approach to her work with individuals, couples, and families. She has completed Level One Training in the Gottman Method, equipping her with research-based tools to help couples strengthen communication, deepen connection, and navigate challenges.
Before beginning her graduate training, Astrid worked for many years as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children and teens on the autism spectrum in schools and clinical settings. In that role, she partnered closely with families to foster skill development, resilience, and self-advocacy.
Astrid is committed to creating a warm, nonjudgmental atmosphere in which clients feel nurtured to explore their lived experience and identify meaningful paths forward. She draws on her passion for systemic thinking as well as her belief in providing care that is evidence-based and trauma-informed.
