


Berta Leon, MS, MA
Associate Clinician
With over 18 years of experience in human services, Berta brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role as an Associate Clinician. She has served as a Family Advocate, Behavioral Specialist, Bilingual Home-Based Therapist, and Student Assistance Counselor, working extensively with young children, adolescents, Spanish-speaking families, and diverse community populations.
Berta holds a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of
Rhode Island and a master’s degree in Holistic Clinical Mental Health from Salve Regina
University. She offers bilingual (Spanish/English) services.
Grounded in a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, Berta strives to create a
supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. She
integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Relational Cultural Therapy,
tailoring her approach to each individual’s unique needs.
Berta believes the therapeutic relationship can be a powerful catalyst for growth and change.
Her goal is to collaboratively support clients in building healthy relationships, fostering
resilience, and achieving overall health and wellness through a holistic, client-centered
approach.
