Calleah Solomon, BA, MA Candidate in Dance/Movement Therapy
Clinical Intern
Calleah is currently earning her Master of Arts in Dance/Movement Therapy with a concentration in Couple and Family Therapy at Antioch University New England. Her journey toward a career in mental health began during her years as an elementary teacher, where her approach to teaching was shaped by a deep commitment to the social, emotional, and mental well-being of her students. Over time, this work expanded into supporting their broader socio-emotional development and fostering deeper inter- and intrapersonal connection.
Calleah’s therapeutic approach draws from, but is not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, the Gottman Method, Structural Family Therapy, and Imago Couples Therapy. With a well-rounded background in the performing and expressive arts, she values movement as a way to build somatic awareness and strengthen the mind–body connection. She believes that weaving expressive modalities—such as dance, visual art, drama, and music—into talk therapy can deepen self-discovery and emotional expression. Her training in exploring the inner world allows her to create spaces where individuals feel supported in expressing themselves authentically.
Grounded in her own journey of navigating challenges, Calleah strives to help individual adults, couples, and families heal and strengthen their relationships—with themselves, with others, and with the environments in which they live.
