Christina is excited to join Cumberland Counseling LLC as a Clinical Intern,
building on her foundation in psychology with a Bachelor's degree from West
Virginia University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental
Health Counseling with a specialization in holistic practices at Salve Regina
University. Christina is passionate about deepening her understanding of the
interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. Her ultimate
goal is to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and she looks
forward to continuously learning from both her experiences in her program and
the world around her.

Christina is a compassionate and empathetic counselor dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. With a deep commitment to meeting clients where they are, she prioritizes their unique needs, ensuring they feel empowered to share at their own pace. She believes in the power of a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust, respect, and validation. By holding space for clients, she encourages individuals to explore their thoughts and emotions freely while receiving the support they need. Understanding the diverse backgrounds and experiences that shape each person, she integrates cultural awareness into her practice, recognizing the importance of honoring each client’s identity, values, and lived experiences. Through warmth, authenticity, and a client-centered approach, she strives to help individuals navigate life’s challenges, heal, and move toward personal growth. Christina aims to create an environment where clients feel supported and look forward to their sessions, confident that they have a trusted and dependable ally in their journey.
