Emily Dix Thomas, LCSW 
Licensed Clinician
 

Emily (they/she) is a licensed clinical social worker who works with adolescents, adults, and relationships of all genders. They bring a strengths-based and trauma informed lens to their work and strive to create a curious and collaborative therapeutic space. Comfortable exploring topics of gender, sexuality, non-monogamy, polyamory, kink and sex work, Emily is a queer identified and queer affirming therapist.  

Emily has experience working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and those struggling with their relationship to substances. She uses CBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness practices, and is influenced by somatic practices, harm reduction, Internal Family Systems, and Health At Every Size principles. Emily is working towards Gottman level 1 and 2 training and is also excited to offer walk and talk therapy on trails near the office. 

Emily believes that systems of oppression deeply impact our mental health, and seeks to build client-centered therapy that honors the intersections of identity in each individual. Emily is also an artist and musician, and loves to support creative people of all kinds.
