Julia Savovici, MA, R-DMT
Associate Clinician, Registered Dance/Movement Therapist

Julia is a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist who is using her clinical expertise to pursue licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She brings warmth, creativity, and a holistic approach to therapy, specializing in helping individuals and couples explore emotions, strengthen communication, and reconnect with themselves and others, using both traditional talk therapy and expressive arts.

She is trained in a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Play Therapy, Psychodrama, and the Gottman Method for couples. Julia integrates mindfulness practices and creative arts therapies into her work, tailoring each session to meet her clients’ unique needs.
At the heart of Julia’s approach is the belief in the powerful connection between mind and body. Through Dance/Movement Therapy, she helps clients become more attuned to their physical and emotional experiences. By using movement as a form of expression and exploration, clients can process feelings that may be difficult to express in words, release stored tension, and build greater self-awareness. This somatic and nonverbal approach supports nervous system regulation, emotional healing, and a deeper understanding of oneself and one's self in relation to others.
Julia is especially passionate about working with couples to improve connection, navigate tough conversations, and enhance intimacy through both verbal and nonverbal communication.
Outside the therapy room, Julia is a performing violinist and passionate Argentine Tango dancer. She believes in the healing power of music and movement, and brings that spirit into every session.
