Nicole Toscano, LCSW
Licensed Clinician
Nicole is a trauma-informed therapist who believes that every person deserves to be valued and seen, simply because they are human. She offers a warm, grounding presence rooted in acceptance and views therapy as a client-paced, collaborative process. Nicole understands that while suffering is part of being human, it does not define who we are. During therapy, she works alongside clients to create attainable goals, adapting them as life evolves. She creates space for clients to pause, reflect, and care for themselves—celebrating both major breakthroughs and quieter moments of progress.
Nicole is experienced in supporting adults through grief, loss, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, and views grief as something that can arise from any significant change.
Her approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), tailoring modalities to meet each client’s needs and goals. Nicole helps clients feel more connected to themselves and confident in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.
Nicole currently sees clients virtually and will offer in-person sessions in the Cumberland office beginning in early 2026. She accepts most insurance plans and self-pay clients.
