Samantha DeSalvo, MS, CHMC, LMHCA
Associate Clinician

Samantha believes that you are the expert of your own life. She works with individuals navigating stress, life transitions, and patterns that feel hard to break. She also supports individuals who want to build a healthier relationship with food, body image, and movement. Many of her clients are looking to better understand themselves, feel more grounded, and create meaningful change that lasts.

Using evidence-based practices, Samantha helps clients build self compassion, uncover what truly matters to them, and develop goals that align with the life they want to live.

Therapy can help you understand what is driving those unhelpful patterns so change becomes possible. Together, you’ll look beneath the surface behaviors, build healthier coping tools, strengthen self trust, and create sustainable habits that support the life you want. Her style is warm, honest, and practical. Clients often leave therapy with more confidence, less shame, reduced stress, healthier boundaries, and a better relationship with themselves and others.

For clients who would like to include faith, she also offers Christian counseling. This can include integrating prayer, biblical truth, values, and spiritual exploration into the work when/if it feels meaningful to you.

She earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johnson & Wales University. Her clinical background includes experience working in obesity medicine and food addiction. She also has an extensive background in wellness as a personal trainer, which brings a deep understanding to the mind-body connection.

It’s important to find the right fit for you and your goals. Let’s set up a time to connect, answer any questions you may have, and see if working together feels like the right next step.
