Samuel Peloquin, LICSW
Licensed Clinician

Sam Peloquin, LICSW, provides both in-person and telehealth therapy to individuals ages adolescents  and adults. He works with clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, attention issues and obsessive thoughts and compulsive patterns.

Sam’s therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, while maintaining a trauma-informed perspective. He believes therapy is a collaborative process in which clients can challenge unhelpful thought patterns, build on what is already working in their lives, accept what cannot be changed, and take meaningful action aligned with their values.

Sam earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) from Rhode Island College in 2017 and has worked in the mental health field ever since. His experience includes working as a clinician in a group home for adolescent boys and more than four years as an outpatient therapist for a wide range of clients.

In his work, Sam helps clients use their strengths, goals, and values to inform the care they receive. He strives to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable showing up as their full selves.  He believes therapy can be creative, engaging, informative, challenging, and at times humorous.

Sam has a particular interest in working with adolescents  and adults navigating anxiety, obsessive thoughts and compulsive patterns, and attention-related challenges such as ADHD, helping clients develop practical strategies for managing focus, motivation, and daily structure.
