Sarah Schwartz, LCSW
Licensed Clinician

Sarah is a licensed therapist and clinical social worker who brings a compassionate, client-centered approach with adolescents, adults, and couples by using trauma-informed care, psychodynamic theory, family systems, mindfulness and CBT.

Guided by a deep passion for social justice, Sarah takes an intentional and culturally attuned approach to therapy by recognizing the complex ways identity, race, class, culture, and systemic inequity shape mental health. She applies a strengths-based, ecological perspective that considers the individual within their broader social and environmental context.

Sarah works with her clients to face a wide range of life challenges including relationship issues, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, and substance use. Sarah meets clients with authenticity, warmth, and respect. She builds trust and empowers her individual clients to find their voice. In her work with couples, she offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space where partners can break unhealthy patterns, deepen emotional connection, and strengthen their relationship and intimacy with one another.

Sarah is committed to meeting each client where they are by tailoring care to their unique experiences. Clients working with Sarah will be understood, respected, and empowered as they move toward healing and growth for not only themselves but those around them.
