Her degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Criminal Justice, combined with her professional role at the Department of Children and Families, give her a uniquely well-rounded lens in her therapeutic work. This blend of academic training and real-world experience allows Tyesha to connect deeply with clients’ emotional experiences while also recognizing the broader systems such as family dynamics, social structures, and environmental stressors that shape their lives. She brings both warmth and insight into every session, offering compassionate, culturally sensitive care to individuals, couples, children, and parents alike.
Tyesha is trained in the Gottman Method Levels 1 and 2, and her training in sex therapy adds another dimension of depth and expertise. Together, these evidence-based approaches empower couples to reconnect, resolve conflict, and rebuild trust through practical, research-backed tools that nurture emotional and physical intimacy.
